11th-place finish in Rock Gault Memorial opener at Cherokee

Friday night saw Big Frog Motorsports and Ross Bailes return with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series on Friday night at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the two-day Rock Gault Memorial. With the 43-car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Bailes came in fourth in his heat, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the A-Main.
