Big Frog Motorsports competes with XR Super Series at All-Tech
Mark Whitener returned to the driver’s seat of the Big Frog Motorsports No. 58 Late Model on Friday evening at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) to compete with XR Super Series. Drawing 38 Late Models for the two-day Florida Dirt Nationals, Mark came in sixth in his heat before placing second in his B-Main. Carrying a steady pace for all 40 laps of the feature, Whitener logged a 19th-place outing. (Twisted Chassis Photography)
For the $50,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Whitener missed a transfer spot by one position in his heat, relegating him into the B-Main. Scoring a runner-up finish behind Kyle Larson, Mark earned the 20th-starting position for the finale. He was an early retiree from the 50-lapper with front-end damage.
