Cody Overton pilots Big Frog Motorsports machine at Hendry County Motorsports Park
Once again tapping Cody Overton for driving duties, the Big Frog Motorsports team took a trip to Hendry County Motorsports Park (Clewiston, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Swamp Cabbage 100.
With just over 30 Crate Racin' USA cars signed in, Overton laid down the quickest lap in his qualifying group before taking the checkered flag in his heat race.
On the pole for Saturday's $15,000-to-win finale, Cody ran inside the Top-5 early before spinning on lap six. Overton tried to recover but pulled off just after lap 50 and recorded a 17th-place finish.
