Four Top-10 finishes give Jimmy Owens and Big Frog Southern Nationals points lead
Fresh off a pair of Top-5 finishes, Jimmy Owens rolled into his home state of Tennessee for two Southern Nationals Series shows at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) and I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.).
The Big Frog team picked up two more Top-5 finishes on Monday and Tuesday before heading to Georgia for the three-day weekend swing.
Jimmy finished seventh in the Roscoe Smith Classic before a dissappointing run on Friday night at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway. Owens closed out the stretch with an eighth-place finish in the Rebel Yell at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Saturday.
Owens is currently leading the point standings ahead of Garrett Smith and Kaede Loudy.
