Clem competes with World of Outlaws at Talladega Short Track
Big Frog Motorsports and Tyler Clem invaded Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon to compete with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series for the two-day Alabama Gang 100.
With the massive 62-car field divided into three groups for a round of preliminary features, Tyler’s qualifying effort pinned him on the eighth row for his prelim. With $4,000 on the line, Clem broke a rear-end late in the 20-lapper that brought an early end to his night.
On Saturday, Clem recorded a fifth-place finish in his heat, relegating him into a B-Main for another shot at the $50,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place second or better, Tyler fell short with a seventh-place outing.
