Big Frog and Wilson record Top-10 finish during Speedweeks at Ocala Speedway
Daulton Willson unloaded the Big Frog Motorsports machine at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway to kick off the longest stretch of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Speedweeks as he joined a field of 36 Super Late Models for the first of five race nights at the facility.
Wilson made his best run on the opening night and finished seventh in the $7,000-to-win opener. Daulton then finished 18th on Wednesday night and wound up 25th during the first points night.
After losing Friday’s show to severe weather, Wilson rolled into Saturday’s finale primed for a good run. Daulton started on the front-row of the heat race, but was unfortunately was involved in a tough wreck that ended his night.
